To the Gill Family -
It is with a heavy heart that I write this today as I just learned of Ken’s passing. Ken and Gail were our neighbors on North Greece Road for 20+ years. They were wonderful neighbors ~ both so kind and caring. Ken was very soft spoken but so knowledgeable about so many things.
Many times when I would be hanging clothes out on the line, Ken would come over and we would catch up with each other about our families. Or . . . we would simply talk about “the eight point buck” we saw in the backyard . . . always with much excitement!!!
Ken was very proud of his garden; although I know he worried about the deer and “other little critters” getting in and eating everything. He always had a bag full of tomatoes, cucumbers or zucchini to give us though.
Ken also was very proud of his yard. He knew his flowers, shrubs and trees. I learned one day from him that we had a butterfly bush and a tulip tree in our yard!!! Ken loved the outdoors and he cared about everything . . . even the tiniest, littlest thing.
Ken and Gail will both be deeply missed by many.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours during this difficult time.
