Obituary of William J. Gielow

Hilton - William J. "Bill" Gielow peacefully left us for heaven on November 7, 2021, at the age of 61. He was predeceased by his parents, William & Mary Gielow, his sister, MaryAnn Maybee, and his brother, Robert Gielow.

He is survived by his brother, David Gielow (Diane Dixon), and his beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and very good friends.

Bill was the owner/operator of Great Lakes Marine Contractors LLC. He worked in Afghanistan at the Kandahar Airforce Base, in the green zone in Iraq, and on the oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. He loved his work and enjoyed helping people and being out on the water in his boat. 

Per Bill's wishes, there will be no calling hours or Funeral Services. 

To honor him, there will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 4th from 11 am - 3 pm at Robbie's Bar & Grill, 610 North Greece Road in Hilton. Please come and share your stories and memories. You may email pictures of Billy to share to: mark@powersfunding.com.
