Condolences
Billy - you were a bright light at a time in my life that could have easily been dark. Your smile-your laugh- your raspy voice were the traits that made you the life of the party. You were even a good dancer when you wanted to be!! But what I remember most is all the times we left the bar at closing and would go to your upstairs apartment and make shrimp scampi at 3AM and play battleship and cheese for hours. We would talk about everything. I will never forget the compassion and friendship that you gave me. I’m looking forward to “sinking your battleship “ when I get to the other side

I remember washing Billy's face in the snow along with my brother Alan . Then in later years being at the Willow drinking a beer or TOO many ! :) Or was it at Smugglers ( Jerry's place.) ? Let's not forget the Hilton beer tent !! :) Laughing all the way ! Thanks for the great memories friend. Catch you down the road....
Billy was such a good soul. We had many a good time together as young adults. I'm blessed that when we got older we reconnected and when I would visit town we would go out, talk on birthdays and holidays etc... He was always a hard worker, hard drinker and a true friend. Bill you will be missed now who am I going to call to bug . Love you for all time Krissy (Hoepfl) Epling
Billy had a heart of gold. He sure could brighten a room w his great smile. Later years l no longer lived in the area and only would see Billy when visiting. Billy always ask how I was & how my parents were doing, never complaining about what might be going on w him. Billy gave me the nickname and always called me "Dorothy". He said I reminded him of a neighbor named Dorothy. Since I was in my 20's it was always Dorothy..which was more bellowed out in that gruff voice of his. I will miss you my friend. Braddock's will miss you. Fly high & bring laughter to heaven.

Billy was always happy to see you and had a joyful presence about him. He was always so kind and thoughtful to those close to him, as well as being kind to others. When he entered the room there was always a lot of laughter and good fellowship. I will always remember the night he and I spent at Foley's Nightclub in Sarasota many years ago. Billy was fun to be around, and he was a good man. I feel privileged to have known him. Billy, may you Rest in Peace. Your Friend, Gene (Buzz) Thurston

A lot of great memories with my friend Billy, all the many " hey Nemoy!!" ( my name is Lenny so he called me Leonard Nemoy after the actor) the time he borrowed a Harley and was the best rider of the lot. And his reaction to all the Happy Birthdays I gave him!!! We will all miss him dearly. He had the biggest heart around.
