Obituary of Van E. Geisler

Van E. Geisler passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the age of 69.  He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Gears) Geisler; his daughter, Tina (Scott) Ingham; his grand-daughter, Alana Ingham; his sister, Deborah (John) Buckner; his mother-in-law, Helen Gears; his brothers-in-law, Charles (Lyn) Gears and Douglas (Wanda) Gears; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Van was predeceased by his grandson, Colin Ingham.

Van was a member of the Rochester Bassmasters, and enjoyed fishing, boating, painting, music and playing his guitar.

Friends and family are invited to call, following CDC guidelines, on Monday, August 31st, from 4-7 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, where Van's Service will be at 7 pm, after calling hours. Private interment in Parma Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Van's grandson, Colin, to CHERUBS, 3650 Rogers Road, #290, Wake Forest, NC 27587; or online at www.CDHI.org. 

The family wishes to extend their appreciation for the care Van received in the ICU of Unity Hospital.
