Condolences
Dear, dear Nancy.....I am so sorry to learn of Van's passing....you two were truly a special couple to know! Please know that you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers....May God Bless!

It is with great sadness that I write this memo. Van and I shared a great many experiences as kids growing up. It was Van who helped me learn guitar, even though it was difficult since he played lefty and I was a righty. Never will forget the balance he added to our band and the talent he truly had. My one regret is that I did not know him as an adult and the impact he had on so many people. I really enjoyed catching up with him at his class reunion of one year ago. I know his loss will be felt by many but our loss is heavens gain, they just got a great talent to work with. Rest in peace old friend and may God bless your family and friends. Frank Hopkins
Tina, may you and your family find solace in the fond memories you have of your father. My heartfelt sympathies go out to you.

Van was a wonderful guy, the kind of friend you felt comfortable with, even with long lapses between visits. His easy-going manner and sense of humor are what made everyone think the world of him. He and Nancy were almost iconic, together for so many years, a very special couple. Van will be missed by all who know him, yet we will feel blessed for knowing his friendship. Nancy, Tina and family, my sincere condolences to you with this loss! My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all. Van...we will always miss you, Rest In Peace and in the glory of God.❤️Nancy, I hope you feel all the love being sent your way.
My heartfelt condolences to the family. Van and Nancy were always together since 8th grade. I can't remember a party without the two of them, and he loved his girls. Such sad news for anyone who knew him. Praying for his famly that they will find acceptance and peace, knowing that he is waiting for them in a much better place. He will always be with you, Nancy.
