Dear Kelly Family - I am so very, very sorry to hear of Alice's passing - we have been friends for fifty years - even though we seldom saw each other once the kids began to grow up. She was a super gal - and I will share a sweet story about when she was my son Brad's Den Mother.
One evening, we were driving to my sister and brother-in-laws on Dunbar road for dinner. We went by, I think it was the Podgers home. Somewhere along the way we had heard that there was an indoor pool in the house. My older son said - when I grow up - I am going to be rich enough to have a pool in my house... my younger son, Brad said , Well when I grow up , I want a house like Mrs. Kelly's - and then I am going to marry someone like her to keep it clean. I shared that story with your mom... we loved it!
Because of my connection with the Kelly family - through my friend Carol Mitchell, whose mom was a Kelly - in addition to my Dad knowing everyone from Hilton.....actually, he and Myron friends...…
Alice was so talented in so many ways... I loved her demeanor and the nice, honest way she had about her... Please accept my very deepest sympathy in your loss... and know that I am thinking of your family... Sincerely, Marilyn Lowden Koss Wright
