My heart goes out to the family for you're huge loss, but know there is another angel in Heaven...I've never known anyone with as much faith as June...she has taught me so much. SHe was a prayer warrior like no one else...she prayed for my family daily, she was nothing short of amazing. Her rewards will be many..can't wait to see her again! hugs to you all!
Your Mom is a wonderful person. Glad to have known her.
I will always remember June as a woman of God who demonstrated the fruit of the Holy Spirit in her daily life. She was my friend, my teaching colleague, my sister in Christ, my sons' Sunday school teacher, and a wonderful mother to her children. We can all take comfort that June is in the arms of the Savoir. Love and hugs to her family.
I'm sorry for lost of Mrs Vickers!!! Mrs Vickers was the best teacher, at school and Sunday school teacher. The Vickers family will be in my prayers!!.
I will always remember June as a beautiful, caring lady that loved the Lord with all her heart. She shined with her faith. I am very happy to have known her. Prayers and my deepest condolences to the family
I loved your mom. She taught both my daughters in kindergarten. She and your dad were our neighbors and friends for over 30 years. We miss them dearly. I am so sorry that we both will be out of town during her memorial in Boron. Our sincere condolences with our love and friendship.
What a wonderful life she had. She touched the lives of so many children. I was one of the lucky parents who had her as the first teacher for both of my sons. I remember how nervous I was at the thought of leaving my son at school that first day. June was so kind and understanding of my emotions. She immediately put my mind at ease as I saw her interact with the children. You could tell that she loved them, and they all loved her. My deepest sympathies to the family.
I just want to say I can and do remember her and how sweet and kind. I am so sorry she wrote to my mother in the summer of 2011 and I meant to answer her letter but was overwhelmed at the time and thought I would get to it and then miss placed it With deepest regards to your family Grace
Mrs Vickers was my kindergarten teacher and I have so many wonderful memories of her. She was always so kind, patient, and caring. I remember making my plaster hand print in class and loving the one on one attention that I received while making it. I've had many teachers over the years and Mrs Vickers has always been one near to my heart. My condolences to her family and friends.
With Love,
Valerie Bankhead
Dear, dear Aunt June was one of the finest women that I have ever met. She was a gentle and kind soul who was optimistic and had a positive attitude about everything! She loved healthy living and loved life! Aunt June will be greatly missed, but will now be with her brother, Dick, in Heaven forever living in peace and love!
My heart aches so at the loss of my beloved June and so soon after the loss of my beloved husband (her brother). They both lit up a room and their friends with their beautiful smiles.
The ultimate kindergarten teacher! Such a sweet lady. I will remember her sweet smile forever!
June was the best Mother-In-Law a guy could have ever asked for. She was sweet, kind and supportive. It was a privilege to have her live with us for the last 7 years...
Mrs. Vickers was my kindergarten teacher and she lived down Cote street from me for most of my life. She was so patient with me, and lovingly helped me learn my address. I remember for weeks she would test me and I kept saying random numbers and then a name, because I didn't understand what any of those things meant for an address. She had to explain to me that each house had a number and each street a name. I rode my bike past her house and colored on the sidewalk countless years thereafter, and remember seeing her teach in the children's Sunday school ok so many occasions. Some of my earliest memories include Mrs. Vickers. I'm so sad to hear she has passed but so grateful she was with family and loved for all of her days. Our condolences and prayers for you all.
