Obituary of Erna A. Lever

Greece - Erna A. Lever passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by husband, Gordon Lever; her brother, Robert Mathewson; and her parents, Ernest and Anne Mathewson. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Michael) Baskin and John (Jamison) Lever; her grandchildren, Elyse Hoffer, Megan Hoffer (Chris West), Natalie Lever, William Lever, Jayden Trafton, and Emma West; her niece, Kristen (Sean) Taylor; and her cousin, Chris (Dale) Wolf. 

Erna enjoyed quilting, reading, crafting, and cooking (especially at Christmas time when Gingerbread houses were her favorite). Her family was most important to her, and she loved spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by her many family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 1 - 3 p.m. at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue in Hilton, where her Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. that day. Interment will take place in Parma Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
