Obituary of Edward W. Boehm

Rochester - Edward W. Boehm passed away on July 26, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lisa Acton and his son, Scott Boehm. He is survived by his wife, Janet; his son-in-law, Jeff Acton; and his grandchildren, Andrew Acton and Dean (Leah) Acton. 

Edward was a Sergeant in the Monroe County Sherriff's Department, where he worked for 23 years. He was a big fan of the Yankees and Buffalo Bills. In his leisure he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, and reading, especially Tom Clancy books, Civil War history, and things about Gettysburg.  

Family and friends are invited to attend Edward's Memorial Service on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4301 Mt. Read Blvd., Rochester , NY, 14616.  (please note: service has been changed to this new location) Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Fairfield Cemetery.
