Obituary of Lucia V. Shean

Rochester - Lucia V. (Almeter) Shean was called home to the Lord on November 17, 2023 at the age of 62. Lucia held strong Christian beliefs and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her parents, Lawrence and Barbara Almeter; her husband of 18 years, Steven Shean; her children, Laura Reed, Virginia (Patrick) McDonald, and Joseph A. Reed; her step-children, Brittany (Eric) Pyhtila and Brandon M. (Lauren) Shean; her siblings, Martin L. (Karen) Almeter, Matthew J. (Kathy) Almeter, Maria C. (Edward) Egenlauf, and Andrew P. (Danna) Almeter; her grandchildren, Euan, Violet, Ethan, Theophilus, Madeline, and Elias; her god-parents and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Lucia owned her own business, Serenity Oasis Massage. She also was a wine educator for Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery. Lucia loved anything to do with outdoors including her lovely, well maintained gardens. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Lucia's Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family at Parma Union Cemetery. A Celebration of Lucia's life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Olmstead Lodge in Highland Park, at a time to be determined. Please check back for update on time.
