Obituary of Janet M. Havens

Spencerport - Janet "Jan" M. Havens passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Barbara Timm; and her brother-in-law, John Havens. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Paul Havens; her sons, Timothy (Mary Kay) Havens and David "Chipper" (Lori) Havens; her grandchildren, Cody (Miranda), Jesse (Kelly), Maia (Matt), TJ (Carolyn), Allison, and Heather; her great-grandchildren, Landon, Parker, Carson, and Isabella; her sister, Carol (Jim) Schihl; her sister-in-law, Cecily "Cec" Havens; and several nieces and nephews.

Jan worked for the Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES) for many years as a secretary. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she participated in several Bible studies groups. She was a homemaker, enjoying quilting, reading, and baking (molasses cookies were her specialty).

Friends and family are invited to Jan's Memorial Service on Saturday, May 13th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Avenue in Hilton. Interment will be held for Jan in Parma Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
