Obituary of Gregory Evan Blodgett

Hamlin - Gregory E. Blodgett passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 63. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold & Betty Blodgett. He is survived by his wife, Karen; his children, LeeAnne (Justin Niederhofer) Dann, Evan (Morgan) Blodgett and Heather (Jordan Lang) Blodgett; his grandchildren, Ryan, Kylee, Carson, Jackson, Brantley and Kaysen; his sisters, Susie (Rickey) Poupore and Tina Blodgett; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry (Kim) Blossom, Mary Jo Denninger, Lorre (Alex) Sigismondi, Jeff (Emily) Blossom, Amy (Duane) Eigbrettand; his nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends. 

Greg loved the outdoors, especially camping with his family and friends at Long Point State Park on Chaumont Bay. He loved to cook, grill, especially canning tomatoes and salsa with a kick. Greg's pride and joy was LeeAnne, Evan, and Heather, and his grandchildren, who brought him an even greater joy. He was best known to them as "Papa".

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021 from 4-7 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where his Funeral Service will be on Saturday at 10:00 am. Interment in Parma Union Cemetery.
