Obituary of Michael J. Austin

Leland, NC - Micheal J. Austin passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by his parents, Merrill and Katherine Austin; his brother, David Austin. He is survived by his daughter, Aprile (Rob) Peter and their children, Alexis, Jonathan and Katherine; and Aprile's sister, Jennifer and her family; his sisters, Joan (Terry) Ainslie and Patricia (Dale) Klien; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael was a world traveler - visiting 39 countries and 6 continents, including his favorites, London, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina. He also enjoyed stock market ventures, his pool league, and cooking.

Family and friends are invited to call Thursday, July 22nd from 4 -7 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue in Hilton. Michael's Funeral Service will take place Friday, July 23rd at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W Ridge Rd, Rochester, NY 14626. Interment will be held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro, New York at the convenience of the family.
