Obituary of James A. Knapp

Hilton - James A. Knapp passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita (2017); his great granddaughter, Caroline; his brothers, Joseph and Edwin; and his sister, Margaret.

He is survived by his children, Michael Knapp, Kathleen (Kimm) Rhoades, Christopher Knapp and Patricia (Tracy) White; his grandchildren, Courtney (Jose) Vallejo, Melissa (Charles) Bearce, Allison (Cory) Holz, Maria (Mike Spoons) Knapp, Sarah (Noah Swain) Knapp, David Borrelli, Adam Bark, Emily Bark and Jacob Bark; and his great-grandchildren, Christian, Nicolas, Daniel, Andrew, James and Mya.

Jim enjoyed watching Buffalo Bills football, Syracuse basketball and Red Wing baseball. Bowling and playing horseshoes were some of his other pastimes.

Friends and family are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, following CDC guidelines for health safety, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Church, 167 Lake Avenue in Hilton. Interment will be held privately in Parma Union Cemetery.
