Obituary of Mary M. Gorman

Hilton- Mary M. Gorman passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph; siblings, William, Robert, Paul, Lawrence (Bud), Harry, and Nora. She is survived by her son, Michael (Patricia) Gorman; her grandchildren Katlyn Gorman (Dan Figliole) & Heather (Sean) VanAuker; and great-grandson, Dominic.

Mary loved to play cards, shuffleboard, and music. She also loved her grandchildren, camping, walking, and entertaining. She and her husband Joseph owned some small businesses in Sackets Harbor, NY, before relocating to Florida. Mary was loved by so many and made friends wherever she went. She was known as “Grandma Gorman” by nearly everyone, and known for her great smile and her passion for helping others. Most important to Mary was her devotion to her Catholic faith, family, and friends.

There will be calling hours at St. Leo the Great Church on Saturday, June 19, 2021. Mary's Memorial Mass will follow calling hours at 11 a.m. Please follow the CDC guidelines for calling hours and the Mass.
