Condolences
John taught me how to build a kite in the group home I lived in. I always think of him when I’m flying kites with my own children. Simple joy of the wind and sun. Thank you for one of the most valuable memories I have. Ethan M.
Wonderful human being. I worked at the YMCR where he volunteered and often worked closely with him. Im saddened to know that he passed away but also appreciative to learn even more about how giving he was. We had lots of discussions on math and I remember him bringing in his thesis from engineering and explaining it to me. What a joy.
My condolences to his family and all lives that he touched so gracefully.
I had the pleasure of working with John between 2017 and 2019. John spent decades of his life volunteering and helping the local community. I was always impressed by how he not only taught others, but also was willing to participate in the learning process. I'm glad I had the opportunity to work with him and listen to his experiences.
I had the pleasure of meeting John 14 years ago. You could always count on learning something new when talking with him. He was a great man who took pleasure in helping others. The world is most definitely a better place for having him in it. We will miss you Grandpa may you rest in peace.
