Obituary of Frank Cavallaro

Psalm 34:4-5; I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.  Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.

Frank Cavallaro, born in Linguaglossa, Italy, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the age of 82.  Frank is the son of Vito Cavallaro and Elizabeth Tripoti Cavallaro.  On June 22, 1963, Frank married Clotilde Rinaldi in St. John the Baptist Church, a blessed union of 57 years.

Frank worked as a tailor at Montgomery Wards for many years.  He later joined his wife and continued tailoring at "Frank and Clotia's Tailor Shop" in Rome.  He enjoyed interactiong with his customers.  He had many outings to the local coffee shop with friends.  He loved the simple things in life including listening to Italian music, teasing his sister-in-law (Teresa), being an Elk's Club member, getting together with family and friends and playing Italian card games.  He found great solace in his unwavering faith in God and was a long time member of Saint John the Baptist Church.

Frank was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He is survived by his wife, Clotilde; sons and daughters-in-law, Vito (Christa) Cavallaro, Woodside; Joseph (Erin) Cavallaro, Hilton; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth (Arthur) Leach, Bridgewater, MA; six grandsons, Bailey, Joseph Thomas, Noah, Nathan, Max and Ryan and a granddaughter, Nicole; a sister, Marie Grasso; and a sister-in-law, Teresa Frumento.  He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers-in-law, Salvatore Frumento and Joseph Grasso.

Because of the present situation with Covid-19, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.  Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.  

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
