Obituary of James V. Kluga

Rochester - James V. Kluga sadly passed away March 12, 2018 at his home in Rochester at the age of 67. He was predeceased by his parents, Jane and Walter Kluga, his brother, Walter Kluga Jr., and his grandparents, Jane and Vincent Kluga, and Francis and Joseph Rosinsk.

He is survived by his sister, Geraldine (Edward) Lewis of Arizona; niece, Dena (Sean) Nelson; nephew, Dan (Amy) D’Andrea; great nieces and nephews, Dominic, Danielle, Taylor and Kyle, of California; uncle, Donald Rosinski; and many cousins.

He was born on August 18, 1950 in Niagara Falls, N.Y. and attended Holy Trinity Catholic School, Trot Vocational High School, and RIT.

Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, cooking, canning, watching westerns and old movies, and spending time with his friends and family.  He worked in the railway signaling industry since 1975 when he joined GRS/Alstom as an Application Engineer.  He spent much of his time traveling in the US performing system testing for work.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd from 5 – 7 pm at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Ave in Hilton, NY.
