Obituary of Margaret J. Driscoll

Hilton: Margaret J. Driscoll (Hall, Gresens) entered into rest on April 1, 2017 at the age of 104. She is predeceased by her husband John Driscoll in 1993, her daughter Carol Murray in 2008 and her granddaughter Debbie (Gresens) Van Meter in 2012. Margaret is survived by her loving children Shirley Gresens of Rochester, and Robert (JoAnne) Gresens of Florida. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Patricia (Daniel) Sanzotta of Red Creek, Laura (Ron) Goodsell of FL.; Michael (Kelly Hosmer) Gresens, David (Lisa) Gresens of Rochester, and Karen Gresens of FL. Margaret also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren, Cory, Cody, Joe, Shelly, Andrew, Daniel, Rebecca, McKenzie, Shawn, Lauren and Tyler. She also leaves 9 great-great grandchildren, Cedie, Madison, Abigail, Daniel, Landon, Damion, Kira Lyn, Khloe, and Audrey. She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews and good friends. Peg retired from Kodak in 1971 after 25 years of dedicated service. She belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star since 1943. After moving through the “Chairs”, she was Matron for two years, Chaplain for one year and “Past Worthy Matron”. Family and Friends are invited to call Wednesday, April 5 from 4-7pm at the Thomas E. burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where a Funeral Celebration of her Life will be held on Thursday at 10 am. Peg’s Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following the service.
