Obituary of Joanne Dorothea Thorpe

Rochester: Peacefully, December 3, 2016, with her family by her side. Joanne Dorothea Thorpe, age 68, is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Morley and Christie Morley; her brother, Glenn (Sandy) Thorpe; her sister-in-law, Mary (George) Thorpe; and her several grandchildren including Nicholas Morley. Predeceased by her brother, Charles Thorpe.

Joanne enjoyed using McCall's patterns for sewing projects. Anything denim, unicorns, butterflies and classic rock music were some of her favorite things. She made the best chili. She hid the fact that she had nothing for herself, always giving to others. She loved her family very much.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on December 3, 2020, at the Restvale Cemetery, East Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY.  Joanne will be laid to rest at her father's grave (Ernie Thorpe).
