Obituary of Avis B. Ainsworth

Brockport: Avis B. Ainsworth passed away on January 20th, 2017 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her husband, Don Ainsworth, September 11th, 2015. She is survived by her children, Robert (Elaine), Thomas (Mary Anne), Susan (Gary) Smith, Donna (Don Voorheis), John (Sheri), Alan, Timothy (Sue) & Paul Ainsworth; her grandchildren, Stefani (Scott) Monuteaux, Kristina (Greg) Clark, Bradley (Mary Beth) Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Alden Ainsworth, Claire (Nathan) Miller, , Audrey (Bob) Glover, Benjamin (Courtney) Ainsworth, Nathan Ainsworth, Delaney Voorheis, Deagan Voorheis, Aidan Ainsworth & Addison Ainsworth; her great-grandchildren, Cayley, Grace, Jacob, Luke, Sophia, Tyler, Hannah, JJ, Raaya & Sophia.

Family and friends are invited to Avis's Memorial Service on Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue in Hilton. There will be a dessert reception to follow the Service at The Sweden Center, 133 State St, Brockport, NY.

Flowers are gratefully declined. If you have been touched by Avis's kindness, we ask that in lieu of flowers and in true Avis fashion, you perform a random act of kindness in her honor. Whether it be big or small, with the amount of lives that Avis has touched over the years, we could create an epidemic of kindness in her name.
