Obituary of Eugene Czerkas

Greece: Peacefully, July 30, 2015, Gene Czerkas at the age of 95. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean, 2012. He is survived by his children, Sandra Culanding, Gerald (Michelina LaDelfa) Odell, and Linda (Ron) Wadkins; his brother, Edward (Virginia) Luczko; grandchildren, Jessie Roberts, Steven (Jackie) Odell, Dean (Jodie) Cook. Gene participated and won many medals as a speed skater in the Senior Olympics. He set World records in the 60-64 age group for the 1000 and 2000 Meter races. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, August 5th from 4-7 PM at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home. A Private Interment will be held in Garland Cemetery.
