Obituary of Mary Lou Boerner

Greece: August 28, 2015. Mary Lou was pre­deceased by her mother, Barbara Thesing; mother-in-law, Marga­retha Boerner, sister-in-law, Diane Pecorella. Forever adored by her loving husband, Bill; daughters, Julie & Katie Boerner, father, Nor­bert Thesing, brother, David (De­nise) Thesing; sisters, Carol (Bill) Yaniro, Jeanne (Jim) Laley; sister-in-law, Carole (Rich) Edelman; lifelong friend, Sue Wahl; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Mary Lou fought her 2 1/2 year illness surrounded by the love and support of her family, friends, doc­tors and care-givers, but mostly by her dedicated adoring husband, Bill. She did this with grace, dignity and amazing strength. We can­not have been more proud of her. Her greatest joys in life were fun, laughter and being with her family. She recently said she has had a great life. Mary Lou will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Special thanks to doctors, Timo­thy Woodlock and Daniel Zatre­anu, Kenneth Usuki & the staff at Timothy McCormick Transitional Care and the care-givers at Unity. At Mary Lou’s request there will be no calling hours and a Memorial Service will be held at the family’s convenience.
