I just found out about Dotty’s passing. She’d been on my mind since I’m currently staying with a pastor and his family in nearby Buffalo. Dotty was my second cousin. Growing up in the Fargo area, I remember my parents talking about her and Guy but didn’t really know them well. I think I saw them maybe once or twice as a boy. Years later when I made trips to Toronto, I occasionally did stopovers in Albion and got to spend time with Dotty. I’m thankful for her love and generosity. This photo was taken in 2007.
This is my dotty the way I new her. I fell in love with her she was a beautiful person I will miss her Gloria
I will always hold a special place in my heart for Cousin Dotty. She lived a truly remarkable life! Over the years I looked forward to our trips to Rochester, NY as well as several trips that Dotty made to North Dakota to visit our family. My brother and I last traveled to NY in 2010 to visit Cousins Dotty, Marjorie, & David. My deepest sympathy to the family.
I attached photos that my father took in 1940 & 1945 at the Post Farm on Flynn Road, a 1950 photo at our home in Fargo, ND, a 1973 photo at Lake Ontario, and 2010 photo in Albion, NY.
