Dottie held a special place in my three year old heart when she patiently answered all my incessant questions as she was getting ready for work. She held that place ever after. She allowed me to take care of her first born "Gib" for a weekend when he was a baby and i was only twelve and I cared for the little one like he was a national treasure. Distance and age separated us of late but she always held that special place. Condolences to the whole family. An earthly angel has gone home to be a heavenly one, All my love, Bonnie Jean

I loved Dotty dearly. She was a terrific 4-H leader and a kind neighbor. I found her so interesting. Sending love and prayers to her lovely family.

Dotty was the first 4-H leader I met when I came to Orleans County. Words cannot describe her kindness, generosity, talents, integrity and limitess energy. She was an extraordinary volunteer and great leader of both youth and adults. Her legacy lives in the many 4-H youth whose lives she touched.
