Condolences
Our prayers are with Kirsten, Lauren, Beth, Amy, and Bob. We will also deeply miss Dale’s smiling face. We loved to see him at Hilton Family Restaurant (especially his hugs and kisses). We have so many memories.....of the home on Latta Rd, the train table in the garage, playing out in the yard. Then there was the home on Atwell Street. Lots of memories there. The Thousand Islands were very much a part of Dale’s life. As a child at my parents’ home on a special holiday, I was horrified to see Dale put catsup on ham!!! I remember this as if it was yesterday. He put catsup on almost everything. Keep the memories alive. They are very special. He was a very kind, talented cousin.
Dale will be missed. We met on a cruise over 30 years ago. We both leaned on each other during hard times and good. We became almost like brothers. I took his mother in as a second mother. I remember taking her up to the islands for the summers. Going over to his house to swim in his pool with his family. Going sledding and coming home to warm up drinking hot chocolate. RIP Darral (INSIDE JOKE)
I have been fondly remembering family times past with Uncle Sid, Aunt Lola, Dale, and Bob as our family get togethers were always filled with laughter and good times. Dale's good nature, laugh and smile will always remain with me. My thoughts and love go out to all of Dale's family. Cherish the memories as they will allow you to keep him close.
The times I have spent with Dale have been regrettably few, but I always looked forward to our visits and his eyes would light up when we greeted each other. The world has lost one of the best ones, and Heaven's light has grown exponentially. For his terrific daughters, you are his legacy. I hold all of you in my heart as you learn to navigate life while holding on to his memory. God bless. Love you.
