Dick, Kristen, and Tory... My sincere condolences on Ginny's passing. I remember her well from our years as neighbors on Walker-Ontario Rd. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Respectfully,
Gary Bagley
My long friendship with Ginny started back in the 1980s when I hired her as a recreation asst. Little did I know that would be the beginning of a lifelong friendship. Her creative talents and caring persona contributed so much to the wonderful recreation program we were able to provide to the residents at Hilton-East.
We both eventually left our jobs there, but our friendship went on. I treasure the memories of getting together for lunch or a cup of tea where she was such a thoughtful listener - always so genuine in sharing my happiness as well as empathy in my sad times. Every fall I was the grateful recipient of her bountiful gardens - vegetables or flowers - she had a knack for both.
Ginny was one of the most spiritual people I have ever known - she was a healer of body and mind - so full of kindness and compassion for people and animals alike.
I am sad that her warm guiding light is no longer on this earth, but - as she told me just a couple weeks ago, this is not the only existence - she was truly prepared to move on. I wish you safe passage, my dear friend . You will always be with me.
