Char's Puzzle
Char's puzzle is her life legacy, she built it piece by piece
A daughter, sister, cousin, aunt and a dear niece
A puzzle has 4 boarders, this we know is true
Char had 4 solid corners, 3 beautiful daughters a loving son too
She worked her puzzle daily to make her life's dreams for all to see
As a Mom devoting attention raising Jean, Ami, Megan and Sean D
She added pieces through the years Lauryn, Caleb and her adoring husband Hart
She was an Oma first, a devoted wife nothing could tear them apart
She included us all in her treasured puzzle touching us all deeply one by one
Acting as a caretaker , friend, Char could never be outdone
Strong links she used to bond us were like a super glue
Char was compassionate, loving, honest, caring, simply true blue
Life pieces included JAMS, camping, baking her famous pies and yule logs
Driving bus, Pringles, Jasmine and love for all her dogs
Her heritage connected hedgehogs, mushrooms, gnomes, and of course German beer
Rouladen, dumplings, pickles, "PROST" would be our cheer
Char's life work was complete taking a piece of us with her, our hearts forever still
Together WE all need to pick up her STRENGTH as this would be her will
We will miss Char's smile/laugh, miss her through and through
Look to the Western sky to find her, like a Phoenix off she flew
I would tell Char, I LOVE YOU MORE, love your Nanny Goat
I LOVE YOU MOST was her reply back, it was her favorite quote
You left an impression on EVERYONE, leaving your masterpiece, now free to rest

Oh me, oh my. Your beautiful soul. I remember the 4th of July parties, camping out and eating 100 clams for breakfast the next morning! You will be truly missed. You're light and your positivity radiated through anyone you came in contact with. Rest easy pretty lady. Til we meet again.

My memories...
-Charlene's and Hart's wedding under a big burl tree in Parma Town Park.
-so caring for her children and grandchildren... all were so important to her
-an infectious laugh; the four of us sitting in our garage lounges; when Charlene laughed, we all laughed
-camping together on White Pine Pond; w Hart, Sean, and Megan. Sitting on the back deck telling tales
-sharing a campfire at Hamlin Beach
-her great leadership at the corn maze
-many more
Charlene will never be forgotten.
I remember the "first" time I met Charlene. It was Blossomfest and Hart had brought her to meet Craig and I. From the introductions (same first name) to where we lived (Hilton)to how much we loved our kids (lots)and so much else, it was like meeting my best friend for the first time. Hanging out in their garage lounge to our garage lounge (inspired by Charlene and Hart) we laughed and cried together. She gave me a taste of what it was like to be a Nonna (Oma)and showed me by her actions how to be awesome at it. Charlene enriched every life she touched and made people better just by being their friend. She will be so very missed.
To Charlene's family;
Your Oma and mom and wife will never be forgotten. She was a wonderful person. She taught me well when I first came to the transportation . We talked about our grand babies and our pooches.Oma loved you dearly! Charlene would give me rides when she saw me walking. May she be at peace and out of pain.
