Condolences
We are so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. We have so many fond memories of him and all the family from our Kendall days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all this difficult time. He will certainly be missed. Scott and Linda Allen
I have so many wonderful memories of this good and decent man. Hard working, but also playful. I so much enjoyed helping him set up for family gatherings. This was as much an adventure and fun as the gathering itself. His introductions to family were also sometimes an adventure! His voice is permanently imbedded in my memory. Heaven has gained a wonderful gruff talking ole German!!
Roger's long and loving life is an inspiration to us all.
Lots of great memories for his loved ones.
It has been a pleasure knowing Roger. It breaks my heart that this has to happen, but it’s part of life. I have worked for a lot of companies and people but Roger was by far the best employer to work for. He made coming to work so much fun especially when we would drink the hard cider. Joanie and Roger helped me and my family so much when we were on hard times back in the 70s RIP Roger until we meet on the other side for some of your hard cider. Prayers for the Family
I worked briefly for Roger when I was 14. 12 years later he sold me my first farm, and the place where I built my home. The next year he rented me his apple orchards and ended up helping me seasonally for the next ten years in his “retirement”. Through this time we became close friends and Roger was very fatherly towards me, teaching me and helping me along the way. I discovered that he was a man of hard work, principles, and morals. He shared many stories of his younger years, some of which were tough times, but there was always some humor added and they usually ended with a chuckle or a grin. I am lucky to have known him. I will always love and remember him fondly.
Cathy and family, every time I think about time spent with your family, I always remember your Dad being the most welcoming and happy and loving man. He was such a joy to be around and I am so grateful that I was lucky to know him. My heart and love and prayers go out to all of you.
Dear Joanie and family, Who can forget the snow storm of 1977 when Roger drove 2 snowmobiles at the same time to get Ron home that day. We will always remember and always have a good laugh about it. There are so many happy memories of him. May he rest in peace. Love, Ron and Jo Lasal
