Johnny-boy,
What can I say, but thank you for all the great memories over the past 30 years. We shared a lot of fun and a lot of laughs, whether it was plying Ontario for salmon and trout, trolling Quinte for walleye, or sitting atop the hard water for panfish. The record book fish always seemed to be the one that got away, but we had a ball trying. We spent countless hours at hunting camp, playing Euchre and telling tall tales of our exploits. No need to get up early. The deer live in the woods, you know!! Your uncanny talent for wood carving always amazed me. The waterfowl and fish were so beautiful and life-like, I could easily forget they weren’t real. These are just a few of the wonderful memories that I will cherish the rest of my life. You are a good friend and I will certainly miss you and the times we spent together. Save a seat in the boat for me. I’ll bet the fishing is great up there!! Until we meet again.
Your friend,
John Rachow, AKA Cap’n Lucky
