Condolences
Over the years, Marilyn and I exchanged posts on Facebook, agreeing on country, flag, politics, and many other matters.
Knowing Marilyn from school was a bright part of my time teaching in Hilton.
I was stunned and saddened when told of her death.
One of our favorite contacts was "Words With Friends", which we played daily. Today when I went to play, the name on top of my list was Marilyn Wright.
I will miss this wonderful woman and friend!
Our lives touched many times over the years, most recently playing "Words with Friends" - she was a most formidable opponent! But always kind. My condolences to her family. Rest in peace, my friend.
The last of the "Elmgrove Girls".
My heart broke when I heard our "Auntie M" was gone, but I realized there is an army of friends & family welcoming her home. I'm guessing she didn't want a wake because you'd need the War Memorial to accommodate the crowd! She will be truly missed. My condolences to all. Hilton won't be the same without her...Elmgrove girl daughter, Kathy Murphy
Condolences to all of you. She was truly a beautiful person. I recently came to visit her and appreciate all the fine memories she relayed to me. Of course she was cooking ( soup) for her family this day. She gave me a little girl and boy figurines that my mom had made in 1968 to give to my granddaughter. She loved her family and could see it in her expression when talking about you all. I will miss her smile and our chats. Bless you all.
