There are no words to say that can ease the sadness in losing you. You weren’t just an aunt to me, you were a second mom. You were always so full of life and had so much love to share. As a child I always looked forward to coming to your house, home baked cookies, you were always the baker. I loved it when you would wash my hair and help me comb it. Then I turned 16 and got my license and oh boy then we could shop! We’d all go for lunch and the go to the mall and shop. You taught me how to get my first credit card, a JC Penney one and then I was able to go buy that watch I wanted so badly. And the love you had for children, they were always welcome in your home. The world has lost a truly remarkable and strong woman but I know that you are now enjoying the company of Uncle Tom and your brothers and sisters who I know you missed so much. Give my mom a hug and kiss for me too and tell her I miss her.
Keeping you all in my thoughts and praying that God will provide you the strength and comfort to get through the days ahead.
