Betty was a pillar of strength for our family. When I looked at Toni and she said “she’s gone”, I felt it in my heart - like when there’s a loud thunder that shakes the house - that’s what I heard and felt- and I knew it was that that pillar had fallen and I felt the thump. Betty provided the security my childhood needed because I knew she would do anything for me.
