Obituary of Roy A. LaDue
Roy A. LaDue passed away in Zephyrhills, Florida on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his parents, Perry and Helena LaDue; his wife, Dianne K. Cornelius LaDue (Feb. 15, 2023); his grandson, Kevin DeMersman (1994); his brother, Harold LaDue; and his sister, June DeClerck.
Roy is survived by his children, Roy (NovaLee) LaDue, Terry LaDue, and Sheila (Mark) DeMersman; his brother, Paul LaDue; his grandchildren, Danielle (John) Bittner, Melinda LaDue, Troy (Lauren) LaDue, Jenica (Brian) Renke, and Kyle (Ashley) DeMersman; his great-grandchildren, Morgan, Connor, Kent, Nolan, Ryan Mae, Sage, Calder, and Robbie; and several nieces and nephews.
Roy was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He retired from a career at Eastman Kodak. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, also enjoying golfing and camping. He seemed to always be "working" at home, and loving it along with gathering with his family. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, April 20th, from 12 - 2 PM at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue in Hilton, New York where his Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Lakeview Cemetery in Brockport, NY.
