Obituary of John W. Clack Sr.

Rochester - John William Clack Sr. passed away on January 14, 2024 at the age of 88, after a long illness with Dementia.  He was born on June 24, 1935.  He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Grace Clack; his sisters, Mary Kenyon and Bonnie (Glenn) Wheeler; his sister-in-law, Ann Clack; and his brother-in-law, Richard Willgens.  John leaves his wife of 68 years, Millie Helfer; his son, John Clack Jr.; and his daughter, Mary (Joseph) Hirsch; his sister, Suzy Willgens; his brother, Norman Clack Jr.; his grandchildren, Nicole (Kerry) Schmidt, Katelynn Clack Callon, Joanna Hirsch, Matthew (Brandi) Hirsch, and Joshua Hirsch; 6 great-grandchildren, Dylan Schmidt, Mason Schmidt, Cole Hirsch, Makenzie Hirsch, Nevaeh Hirsch and Noah Hirsch; many nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Zeus.

John was retired from Eastman Kodak Co., where he worked for 35 years.  He also retired from Greece Central School where he worked for over 20 years.  He was a faith filled man and a member of Greece Baptist Church.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family, with Interment in Falls Cemetery.
