Obituary of Jacoba C. Nichols

Greece - Jacoba “Coby” Nichols, Peacefully on December 29, 2023 in the company of family. Predeceased by daughter, Jacqueline (Jackie) VandenBerg. Survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Chuck (Charlie); their children, Erik (Cheri) VandenBerg, Dave Nichols, Thera (Dave) Franz, Tim (Kathryn) VandenBerg and Sue Nichols; grandchildren, Matthew Traub, Adrianne Traub, Jacoba (Coby) VandenBerg, Todd Nichols, Kees VandenBerg, Amy Nichols, Chase Franz and Ciarra Franz.

Coby was born in Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands and immigrated to the US in 1959. She retired from Kodak after many roles and years of service. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed parties, music, dancing, walking the beach in Holland, painting, playing cards and board games. She was very spiritual and practiced Reiki.

Visitation for Coby will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue in Hilton from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Boulevard, Rochester 14612. Interment will follow in Parma Union Cemetery.
