Obituary of Christopher A. Wiest
Brockport – Christopher A. Wiest passed away on December 28th, 2023 at the age of 52. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Ruth Wiest. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Kelly "Bengsch"; his children, Hailey (Michael) Delaney and CJ Wiest (Becca Fritz); his treasured dogs, Harlie and Dallas; his siblings Mark (Michelle) Wiest, Keith (Tracy) Wiest, Eric (Jennifer) Wiest, Thomas Wiest Jr., and Yvonne (Gary) Ranney; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Christopher was employed by Sirness Vending Services in Rochester, NY for 30 years. He was loving, thoughtful and forever loyal to his family and many friends. If you knew Chris, you knew he had the biggest heart in the world, enormous sense of humor and could always make people laugh with a one liner or quick joke. He was known to be a great cook, and a pro behind the grill, where he could smoke anything. The neighbors always knew when he was smoking something and always wanted samples, which they were given of course. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, where every game was a reason for the whole family to get together, eat some great food, laugh, cheer and yell at the TV. Chris enjoyed hunting, being with his family, and dogs as much as possible. His family was his pride and joy. He always put others first, even at the end of his life. Chris was an organ donor, and was able to donate his liver and kidneys. We are comforted in the fact that a piece of him will live on through others, by giving the gift of life to someone in need. He was and will forever be a hero to us and will be greatly missed by all.
