Obituary of Demara C. Curtis

Churchville - Demara C. Curtis passed away on December 18, 2023 at the age of 27. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Peter Curtis; and her maternal grandfather, George Herbert. She is survived by her loving parents, Lucas and Karen Curtis; her sister, Alexandra Curtis; her paternal grandmother, Demetra Curtis; her maternal grandmother, Marie "Gummy" Herbert; her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, including her best friend, Serena.

Demara was previously employed by Fairport BOCES as a job coach. She was artistic in spirit and soul and was athletic. She enjoyed hiking, being outside in nature, going to Tupper Lake, and spending time in the Adirondacks. She loved animals, especially her cat Sara.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Demara's Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Christopher's Church, 3350 Union St, North Chili, NY 14514. Interment will take place in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery, North Main St, Churchville, NY 14428.
