Phillip was a man of many talents. He worked at Taylor Instruments for 35 years as a welder and a manager and drove semi-trucks as a second career. He was also generous with his time and talents. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Brockport Fire Department and in retirement served as a volunteer at the Historical Museum in Cape Vincent as well as the food pantry in Hamlin, Life Solutions, where he served on the board. He grew up on a farm in northern New York State and never lost his love of fixing things, always available to help when something broke, from small engines to home projects. He was also a craftsman, creating beautiful wood and iron work items for family and friends. He kept his connection to northern New York, and in summers could be found spending time with family and friends at “The Camp” on the shores of Lake Ontario in the 1,000 Islands. He was generous with his time and friendship and will be deeply missed.
