Obituary of Marie VanWuyckhuyse

Greece- Marie VanWuyckhuyse passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Gertrude Lammes; her siblings, Ben, Pete, Betty, and Dirk Sr. She is survived by her children, Robert (CindyLou) VanWuyckhuyse Sr., Richard VanWuyckhuyse Sr., Janet Bach, and David VanWuyckhuyse; her 23 grandchildren; her 41 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Alice, Gert, and Dorothy; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marie was an LPN for various health facilities in the Rochester area. Then working as a private duty nurse until retiring at the age of 86. She was very proud of her Dutch heritage and traveled to the Netherlands to meet her extended Lammes relatives. Her pastimes included baking, cooking, knitting, and crocheting.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 21st from 4 - 7 PM at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue in Hilton. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 22nd in Parma Union Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
