Obituary of Robert Arthur Koss

Hamlin - Robert "Rob" Arthur Koss passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Doris Koss; and his brother-in-law, Richard Marshall. He is survived by his loving friend and companion, Joan Sorrell; his sisters, Linda Marshall, Karen DeVay, Kathy (Bob) O'Brien, and Denise (Steven) Viney; his grandchildren, Kayla and Christian; his great-grandson, Greyson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Rob was a former LPN at Lakeside Hospital in Brockport.  He was a Life Member and Past President of the Hamlin Fire Department.  He was also a past member of the Hamlin Volunteer Ambulance Corps, serving as an ambulance driver.  Rob was a Hunter Safety Instructor.  He enjoyed working with computers, golfing, competitive archery, NASCAR racing and deer hunting, as well as driving his 1972 Mach One. 

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, July 14th from 4 -7 PM at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue in Hilton, where Rob's Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 15th at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Parma Union Cemetery.
