Obituary of Donald R. MacKenzie

Hilton - Donald "Dick" MacKenzie passed away on June 27, 2023 at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife, Bernadette "Bev" MacKenzie; his children, Michael (Cheri) MacKenzie, Richard MacKenzie, Ronald MacKenzie, James MacKenzie; Timothy Lemcke, Kimberly (Joe) Lamica, and Dawn Knapp; his daughter-in-law, Jeanne Lemcke; his grandchildren, Valorie (Brandon), Chad, Marcie, Ashley (Jay), Megan (Isaiah), Nick, Jake, Sean (Lisa), Nicole (Marah), Joey, Allie (Cory), Maria, Sarah, Daniel, and Ian; his great-grandchildren, Leah, McKenzie, Kylie, Haylie, Bryce, Allison, Kayleigh, Eli, and Norah; and his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Dick was predeceased by his son, Douglas Lemcke, and by several of his brothers and sisters.

Dick was retired from his job as a Painter for Local 150. He was a Life Member of the Hilton Fire Department. He belonged to the North Star Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed playing softball for many years with the Hilton Fireman's league. In his leisure he enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. He will be deeply missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to attend Dick's Funeral Mass on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 110 Old Hojack Lane, Hilton. Interment in Parma Union Cemetery.
