Obituary of Robert James Ogden

Holley - Robert James Ogden passed away on June 25, 2023 at the age of 67.  He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Thompson Ogden; his children, Alexander Ogden, Jessica (David) Bellis, David Wheelock, John (Lauren) Wetzlau, Carie (Jamie) McHugh, and Andrew (Kerri) Bishop; his several grandchildren; his 1 great-granddaughter; his brothers, Donald Ogden and Gary Ogden; his sister, Kim (Terry) Martin; his sisters-in-law, Barbara (Paul) Topel and Donna Thompson; his brother-in-law, Robert (Maryann) Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.  Robert was predeceased by his parents, Robert & Thelma Ogden; by his sisters, Donna Morrow and Jackie Butera; and by his brother-in-law, Richard Thompson. 

Robert was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  He was employed as a cook for Breakers Restaurant in Rochester.  He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he particularly liked the holidays and decorating for Christmas.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching car racing and cooking.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where Robert's Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 pm.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
