Obituary of Donald Henry Wolfe

Hilton - Donald H. Wolfe "Don" passed away on June 6, 2023 at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Wagner Wolfe; his children, Linda Giannotti (Dave Hawver), Jim Wolfe (Mary Lou Vasile), Donna Hopkins, and Rhonda (Mike) Fauci; his grandchildren, Stephen (Heather) Giannotti, Geni (Andy) Rupley, Beth (Andy) Gouge, Donnie Wolfe, Eddie (Marcy) Hopkins, Marie (Justin) Stephens, Kaytlyn (Tyler) Sandmeyer, Michael (Brooke) Fauci, Nicholas Fauci (Courtney Langelotti); his great-grandchildren, Landon, Levi, Amelia, Olivia and Blair; and his sister, Carol Rook. Donald was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Lillian Wolfe; by his brother, Robert Wolfe; by his sister, Shirley Sage; and by his son-in-law, Edward Hopkins.

Don was a retired Master Sergeant who served for 20 years in the US Airforce, and he was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Eastman Kodak Co., where he worked as a Vaccum Coater. Don was also self-employed as an Upholsterer for over 30 years in his home. In his leisure he enjoyed traveling cross country, fishing, going to Blue Grass festivals, listening to Blue Grass music, playing Euchre, and he enjoyed tending his vegetable garden and working with wood.  He will be missed by his family and many friends.

All are invited to call on Sunday, June 11th from 4 - 7 PM at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton where Donald's Funeral Service will take place on Monday, June 12th at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow the service in Garland Cemetery.
