Obituary of Eugene H. Whipple

Fairport - Eugene H. Whipple, "Gene", went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2023 at the age of 85. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Seaman Whipple; his brothers, Manley Whipple, Calvin "Jack" Whipple, and Gordon Whipple; and his sisters, Eunice Whipple Henry and Pauline Whipple Sanford.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Whipple; his children, Mark (JoAnn) Whipple, Keith (Naomi) Whipple, Michael (Theresa) Whipple, Kenneth (Jeannette) Whipple, Andrew (Michelle) Whipple, and Gina (Nasir Hammed) Huntoon; his 20 grandchildren; his 26 great-grandchildren; and his many nieces and nephews.

Eugene was a Veteran of the US Army and a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company where he was a Process and Development Technician. In his younger days, he was on the wrestling team and played soccer. Gene was an avid Yankees fan and was a little league coach at one time. He loved to watch his children and grandchildren play for many sporting events. Vegetable and flower gardening were among his favorite activities as well. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.  

Eugene's Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 15th at 12:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church (990 Manitou Road, Hilton, New York 14468).  Interment will be held in Lakeside Cemetery, 1651 Moscow Road in Hamlin at the convenience of the family.
