Obituary of Charles Herbert Alger

Rochester - Charles H. Alger passed away on March 10, 2023 at the age of 80.  He was predeceased by his son, Charles J. "CJ" Alger and his granddaughter, Jessica Klahn.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy Alger; his daughters, Kari Alger and Kim (Michael) Piccolo; and his grandchildren, Nick Alger, Coden Alger, Shealin Alger, Michael Piccolo, Marc Piccolo, Jason Pool, Aaron Alger and Jonathan Alger.  Charles was also predeceased by his brothers and sister.

Chuck was a Veteran of the US Navy.  He worked at Rochester Products for 30 years.  He loved bowling, hunting, boating, and watching Nascar.  He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan.  He also enjoyed going to car shows with his 1957 Pontiac Star Chief and hanging out with friends and family.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where Chuck's Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:00 am.  Interment in Millville Cemetery.
