Jo was my best friend, sister, a second mom to Kaitlyn, confidant and one of the most important people in my life. Her presence in my life was a present for God. I only had her for 17 short years but she will live in my heart forever. Her smile would make you smile even if you didn't want to. She made me love owls and guinea pigs. I will forever cherish our talks about our kids, painting at Splatters, holidays spent together, shopping trips, tons of laughter and the serious talks. She is now with God. She lived a life full of service to her community and all in her life. Jo I will keep you in my heart always, fly high ♥️
I worked with Jo at Strong, during the years she worked on the med-psych unit. She was always incredibly kind to me, who was a new nurse at the time, and willing to help out any of the other staff who were struggling with their assignments, etc. In the summers, she used to bring in boxloads of homemade jams for all of us. She was always, ALWAYS, talking about her children, and how much she loved her boys and Emma. It was so obvious how proud she was of them. I am so very sorry to hear about her passing, and am praying for peace for her family at this time.
