Obituary of Pauline E. Klaver
July, 11th 2018: Henrietta, New York.
Pauline “Sis” (Toal) Klaver, age 81, was surrounded by family when she was called home to be with the Lord. Beloved wife of 63 years to Edward R. Klaver. Devoted mother to Ellen (Bruce) Fisher, Daniel (Claudia) Klaver and Donald (Margaret) Klaver. Proud grandmother to Rachel (Kevin) Fox, Lyndsey (Brian) McGrath, Isabella and Victoria Klaver, Joshua, Caleb, and Hannah Klaver; and great-grandmother to Connor McGrath.
Pauline is also survived by her siblings, Geraldine Ingham, Jack (Doris) Toal, Teresa (Raymond) Veness and Bernard (Nancy) Toal; her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her furry companions, Homer and Jethro (cats). She is predeceased by her parents, Albert and Ruth Feltz Toal; and her siblings and their spouses, Joann (John) Ingham, Elaine (Phil) Marshall, Albert (Jean) Toal Jr. and Thomas (Sharon) Toal.
Pauline filled the world around her with laughter and with her observations of the quirks of daily life. She was born and grew up in the Hilton-Parma area of New York. She attended Mother of Sorrows School and Hilton High School. Pauline was strong, quick witted, and kind in everything she did; whether it be caring for her family and friends, working, traveling, scrapbooking, or simply puttering around the house. She loved spending time with her family, laughing together, and playing games. All who knew her felt blessed to have had her in their lives.
Friends are invited to call Sunday, July 15th from 4- 7 PM at THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 735 East Avenue in Hilton. Pauline's Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 16th at 10:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Church in Hilton. Interment will take place in Parma Union Cemetery.
