Obituary of Marjorie F. Ryan
Brockport - Marjorie Ryan passed away on December 15, 2021 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard "Lefty" Ryan and her son, Joseph Ryan. She is survived by her children, Douglas Ryan, William Ryan (Connie Ulmen), Nancy (Ken) Hayward, and Virginia (Bryan) Gardner; her grandchildren, Molly, Kelly & Katie Ryan, Kayla (Tony) Wing, Trevor & Audrey Hayward, and Elizabeth & Owen Gardner; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe Ryan, Agnes (Jack) Forsyth, Ellen Dinehart, Jean (Tom) Brook, and Bernice Ryan; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Marjorie was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill (Kay) Foster, Walt (Betty) Foster, Don (Rosie) Foster, Ed (Jeanette) Foster and Dick (Doris) Foster; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Marion) Ryan, Jack Ryan, Marion Ryan, Dave (Phyllis) Ryan, Rita (Jim) Ridley, Margaret (Walt) Sherwood, Mary (Jack) Uebelacker and Dick Dinehart.
Marjorie worked for Eastman Kodak Co and Struck Floors. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. In her leisure she enjoyed snow skiing, planting and caring for her flower gardens, walking, doing water aerobics at YMCA, baking - especially chocolate chip cookies, and watching Syracuse University basketball. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 4-7 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Marjorie's Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 110 Old Hojack Lane, Hilton. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Spencerport. Please remember to wear a mask to church and for visitation.
