Obituary of Mary Ann Foos

Rochester - Mary Ann Foos passed away on December 7, 2021 at the age of 85.  She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Annie Foos; her brothers, Joseph, Martin, and Peter Foos; and her sister, Therese Henchen.  She is survived by her brother, Robert Foos; her sister, Marguerite Hempel; and 32 nieces and nephews.

Mary was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.  She loved spending time with her family.  She was a founding member of her Church, and crocheted lap robes and baby blankets, as well as hats for newborns, through their "Hands of Comfort" group.  She also sang with the choir. She enjoyed traveling to many places,  including China, Tahiti, Egypt, Greece, and Medjugore.  She loved seeing her family at the annual family picnic.  At Easter time, she made delicious homemade chocolates for all the family.  In her leisure she enjoyed bowling, playing Euchre, and watching Lawrence Welk and Soap Operas.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 4 - 7 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton.  Mary Ann's Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 9:30 am at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N Greece Rd, Rochester, NY 14626.  Interment in Parma Corners Cemetery
